Questions before you start
Is the Stripe billing audit really free?+
Yes. The one-time Stripe health scan does not start a BillingGuard subscription or trial. Connect Stripe securely and run the scan before deciding whether to start monitoring.
Do I need a card to start the trial?+
No. You can start the 14-day trial without a payment method. Add one before the trial ends if you want the subscription to continue.
Does BillingGuard change anything in my Stripe account?+
No. BillingGuard uses Stripe Connect for the monitored account, and its audit and monitoring implementation performs read operations only. BillingGuard subscription billing remains separate.
What happens if I disconnect Stripe or App Probe?+
Disconnecting Stripe stops scheduled checks until it is reconnected. App Probe is optional and can be disconnected without stopping Stripe monitoring. Your audit history remains available.
What happens after the free trial?+
The Pro plan is €49/month + VAT where applicable. If you have not added a payment method before the trial ends, the subscription ends instead of charging you.
